Republic Services has increased the rate for trash collection services starting January 1st, 2026 as per the terms of the contract with the City of Caney City, Amendment to Contract, Section 12.02 Modification to Rates. The rate of the increase is set for 5.10% in accordance with the calculated Consumer Price Index for Urban Consumers - Water, Sewer, and Trash Collection Services provided by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
